You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone ReviewLove this book. Thought I'd already reviewed it somewhere, but not apparently on this particular page! It's very entertaining, and for the most part it's about Eric BY Eric. After watching Victoria Woods' great film about Eric and Ernie's early days, it made me want to read and re-read this book several times. Great rags to riches tale. Like classic comedy, and you'll like this.'Nuff said...You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone OverviewTo mark the 25th anniversary of Eric Morecambe's death, here is the first book tocover Eric's whole life and untimely death, including unseen family phootgraphs and new insights by Eric's son Gary Morecambe. Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise are to this day still regarded as Britain's most successful and best loved comedy duo, and their television shows form the 1970s and 1980s are undoubtedly their finest work. For the first time, Eric Morecambe's whole life, from his earliest days in his hometown of Morecambe right up to his death in Gloucestershire in 1984 are appraised by his son Gary. This definitive book on Eric features interveiws with thosewho knew and loved him, including his wife Joan, Robbie Corbett, Hamish McColl who wrote and started in The Play What I Wrote, and a foreword by Judi dench. "You'll miss me when I'm gone" was Eric's oft repeated paintive remark when he'd been annoying the Morecambe family with his gags. The irony is that, 25 years after his death, the veiwing nationstill misses Eric Morecameb.Want to learn more information about You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone?
