The Collins Complete Woodworker: A Detailed Guide to Design, Techniques, and Tools for the Beginner and Expert ReviewThis book covers about all aspects of woodworking! Very well written, too! I think it is geared towards beginners and intermediate woodworkers, with a list of the most used woods, with characteristics, and cautions for each different species. It also gives a basic understanding of each tool type, as well as their use and maintenence. I am fairly new to woodworking and this ahs been a great read for me! I highly reccomend it!The Collins Complete Woodworker: A Detailed Guide to Design, Techniques, and Tools for the Beginner and Expert OverviewWith woodworking fast becoming one of the most popular pastimes in the country, The Collins Complete Woodworker, from the editors of Woodworker's Journal, is the perfect introduction for anyone wanting to get better acquainted with this rewarding hobby. Written in an easy-to-understand style and accompanied by hundreds of full-color photographs and illustrations, this encyclopedic reference covers tools and techniques in 16 lively chapters.

There are even special sections offering projects to challenge your growing skills, tips on shop resources, and a glossary of woodworking terminology.
